HP Season Tickets Are up For Auction on Friday
From the Highlander Strings Booster Club, regarding Highlander Stadium seats No. 57 and 58 in Section C, Row 23:
A very generous Highland Park family has donated a pair of reserved Highland Park High School football tickets for the 2012-2013 season. The price for the seats will be determined by a silent auction to be held during the HP-Aledo game at SMU, Friday, August 31, at 7:30 p.m. (Tom Landry Classic). Funds raised for these tickets will benefit the Highlander Strings Orchestra.
A table will be set up outside the gate with auction bid sheets. Bidding will begin during pre-game and end at the start of the third quarter. This is a great opportunity to secure reserved seats for this year.
Questions regarding the silent auction can be directed to Beth Susens, Highlander Strings Orchestra Booster Club President, at 214-662-4474.
The Strings also have their big raffle coming up Sept. 28, at the homecoming game. Prizes are a 2013 Honda scooter; a Coach purse with gift cards from local merchants; and an iPad 3 with a smart cover and “Dr. Dre Studio Beats,” which I presume are headphones.
The fine print:
Tickets are $5 each, five for $20, or 12 for $40. Purchase tickets from any orchestra member or look for the raffle table at these events:
