Bales To Play Show on Saturday

Back in June, I caught up with Park Cities resident and musician Jayson Bales as he was coaching one of his sons’ little league games. Visiting with Bales was really cool, since I’m such a huge music fan.

Although he has toured extensively in the past, Bales doesn’t play too many shows these days. He’s taking a bit of a hiatus while his kids grow up. But he will be playing both solo and with his band, the Charmers, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Opening Bell Coffee on Lamar.

I’d love to check out his show, but I’m going to see Kiss and Motley Crue that night. If you go, let me know how it was.

Jayson was fantastic. This venue is really good for him and the Charmers – maybe better than Poor David’s Pub. Armstrong Parent, Wealth Manager by Day, Rock Star by night. Very impressive. Warrants another profile.
