Keegan Mueller’s Old Rival Still Kicks Butt
In this week’s edition of Park Cities People, intern Jose Rodriguez catches up with Keegan Mueller, a former Highland Park wrestler who won state championships as an individual (2002 and 2004) and as part of a team (2003). He’s moving back to Dallas to open a gym called D1Fit.
Mueller’s opponent in the 2002 and 2003 state finals was Chas Skelly of Azle. When I was fact-checking his name, I found out Skelly’s still competing these days as mixed martial arts fighter. In fact, he has a bout tomorrow night in Fort Worth.
