Anne Lindsey McColloch & Davin Patrick Hunt
Anne Lindsey McColloch and Davin Patrick Hunt were married April 21, 2012 at Highland Park Presbyterian Church. Dr. Ronald Wesley Scates officiated. A reception followed at Brook Hollow Golf Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Michael McColloch of University Park. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Murray Michael McColloch of Dallas, and Mrs. James Lee Baldwin and the late Dr. James Lee Baldwin, of Highland Park.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Herbert Hunt of University Park. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Herbert Hunt of Highland Park and Mrs. Bebe Mills Flynn and the late John Franklin Flynn of Denison, Texas.
The bride wore an ivory silk organza gown designed by Rivini for Stanley Korshak. The ball gown silhouette was fashioned with a sweetheart neckline and a fitted bodice ruched asymmetrically. The full skirt fell gracefully from a natural waist to her satin slippers. Inside the bodice, over her heart, was a panel of lace from her great-grandmother’s wedding dress worn in 1918. Her veil was full-length, of handmade ivory Brussels lace, brought by the bride’s aunt from Belgium and worn by her mother and her aunts. The bride held two antique lace handkerchiefs, carried by all the brides before her in the groom’s family.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Maid of honor was Catherine Marie McColloch, the bride’s sister. Bridesmaids included
Megan Hunt Carter, Chelsea Scott Hunt, Elizabeth Floyd Hunt, Morgan Grandy Hunt, Caroline Giles Mann, Elizabeth McNair Mann, Emily Allen McDowell, and Sarah Josephine Trimble. Members of the house party were Marie Clark Baldwin, Sarah Pennington Baldwin, Margaret Lucille Burks, Katharine Elizabeth Geddes, Katherine Bruton Haynes, Rachael Clark Langdon, Anne Giles Langford, Caroline Lucille Nowlin, and Eden Dail Taylor. Hailey Elizabeth Hunt was flower girl. George Herbert Hunt was ring bearer.
Best man was the groom’s brother, Austin Douglas Hunt. Groomsmen were Christopher Joel Carter, Chase Tiernan Conway, Clayton Turner Edwards Jr., David Randolph Graham Jr., Henry Ellerbe Grimball Jr., Casey Herbert Hunt, Miles McLean Hunt, Taylor Flynn Hunt, Kyle Prather Luby, Sidney Michael McColloch Jr., and Alexander Nabil Sahliyeh. Ushers included Herbert Hunt Allred, Hunter James Burns, George Wiman Carter Jr., Brett Alan Hairston, Jonathan Drew Hess, Marshall Thomas Hunt, Carter William Hunt, Michael James Garvik Marquart, Orman Kimbrough Upton, and Walker Jones Williams. Hunter James Burns was scripture reader.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Highland Park High School. She graduated cum laude in 2009 from Washington and Lee University with a Bachelor of Science in geology. She was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She was presented by La Fiesta de las Seis Banderas, and is a member of the Junior Group of the Dallas Garden Club. Anne Lindsey is a geologist at Petro-Hunt LLC.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Highland Park High School. He graduated in 2007 from Washington and Lee University with a Bachelor of Arts in European history, with an emphasis in economics. He was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He is a member of the Terpischorian Club. Davin is a landman with Petro-Hunt LLC.
For their honeymoon, the couple visited Little Dix Bay and Peter Island. They now reside in Dallas.
