Cistercian and Ursuline Students Travel to Honduras

Junior Brenden Glover was one of nine Cistercian students who traveled to Honduras in June.

This summer marks the first that Cistercian Preparatory School students joined the Dallas Diocese youth missionary trip to Honduras.  From June 9 to 18, nine Cistercian students and four faculty members accompanied others from Bishop Dunne, Bishop Lynch, John Paul II, and Ursuline Academy for the annual diocesan trip, contributing to the largest level of participation to date.

The diocesan program, led by deacon Charlie Stump, is a continuation of a decades long initiative with the Diocese of Trujillo, which, following the devastation of Hurricane Mitch in 1998, was adopted by the Dioceses of Texas.
