Greenhill Students Win Third Place in National Documentary Contest

Greenhill obviously has a great film department, because a few months ago I wrote a feature about these students, and today, Greenhill seventh-graders Henry Roseman and Sidarth Subramanian, received third place in a national documentary contest held at the University of Maryland.

More than 500,000 students compete in this national contest each year, and the Greenhill guys won in the junior group documentary category of the National History Day Contest for their documentary, From Poison to Pure Joy: The Revolution in Milk Safety.

Roseman and Subramanian received honors at the local and state levels before advancing to the finals, which were held at the University of Maryland from June 10 – 14. As bronze medalists, the boys receive a $250 prize.
