Highland Park Scots License Plates Approved

I wrote a quick story about this back in November, but now it’s official: Highland Park’s got its own plates.

The plates were designed by 2011 HPHS graduate Catherine Taylor, and will cost drivers $55 a year. The district receives 10 percent of all proceeds, which are then applied to the Highland Park Education Foundation.

According to the Texas DMV, the plates will be available in mid-August. To get official word when you’ll be able to buy them, sign up here.
