Join Me at Dallas International Film Fest Friday
You know me from here, Park Cities People, but a lot of us at D Magazine/People world headquarters wear a couple different hats. Dan, for instance, has a Highland Park Scots hat he wears sometimes.
And I, sometimes, wear the D FrontRow hat, where I review movies and talk music for the site. It’s fun, and keeps me from burning out on planning and zoning meetings. That said, I’ll be doing some live interviews on Friday evening in front of The Magnolia in the West Village, as part of the Dallas International Film Festival. Former People employees Jason Heid and Peter Simek will also be working the fest, doing interviews the nights I’m not.
There will be a few chairs set up Friday, and I’ll chat with the filmmakers of Cinema Six and Tormented. Two completely different, fantastic films.
You should stop by, say hi, then go inside; I’m checking out Liberal Arts and Quick. For the full schedule, head to DIFF’s website, then check out FrontRow for our daily recaps.
