Dallas Invites Public to Cycling Discussion
In the April 6 edition of Park Cities People, Bradford Pearson broke down how University Park and Highland Park might fit into the Dallas Bike Plan. On Wednesday evening, urban bike systems and pedestrianism will be discussed at Dallas City Hall, where Gil Penalosa is scheduled to speak at 6 o’clock. He’s the executive director of the Canadian nonprofit 8-80 Cities and the former commissioner of parks, sports, and recreation in Bogota, Colombia. Those credentials mean absolutely nothing to me, but the folks at City Hall say he’s an expert.
