Allie-Coosh Owner Launches Online Boutique

Snider Plaza boutique Allie-Coosh’s owner/designer/primary print model Paulette Martsolf has graced our pages more more than once — for a feature story about the shop last June (fun factoid: Martsolf makes jewelry from dinosaur fossils), and our 2011 People’s Choice contest.

Now Martsolf has launched an online jewelry store called Accoutrer. Merch includes hand-crafted necklaces, bracelets, brooches, and earrings.

Loosely translated from French, accoutrer means “all decked out.” Allie-Coosh’s name is pulled from another culture, too; it’s slang for “off to bed” in Martsolf’s native Newfoundland — which made sense when she launched her career, because she was designing pajamas.
