Ashley Duncan & Matthew Kellogg
Ashley Hayes Duncan and Matthew Warren Kellogg exchanged wedding vows Jan. 21 at St. James Episcopal Church in Baton Rouge, La. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Mark Holland. A reception followed at the Baton Rouge Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Margie Dumestre Duncan, formerly of Baton Rouge. She is the granddaughter of Lorraine Bottger Dumestre and the late Lawrence John Dumestre of Baton Rouge.
The groom is the son of Jane Birchard Kellogg and David Moulton Kellogg IV of Dallas. He is the grandson of Marion F. Kellogg and the late David M. Kellogg, of Weston, Mass. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur R. Birchard Jr. of Lenox, Mass.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother. She was escorted down the aisle by her brother, Paul Anthony Hayes III. She was attended by her matron of honor, Laura-Lucia Carothers. Bridesmaids included Kelly Margaret Brackman, Caroline Kellogg Finnegan, Kimberly Redmond Mastrangeli, Murphey Harmon Sears, Ashley Mayer Smith, Erin Elizabeth Smith, and Anne Kellogg Usher. Flower girls were Anderson Beall Carothers, Campbell Fielder Carothers, Patricia Ashley Hayes and Phoebe Grace Hayes.
The bridegroom was attended by his best man, Jeffrey Stephenson Sears. Groomsmen were Anderson Cole Jones, Kevin O’Sullivan Hayden, Stewart Taylor Lang, Derek Gardiner Louden, John William Mitchell, Barton Frederick Peters and Frederick Earle Rowe IV. Ushers were David Beall Carothers, Garrett Taylor Etheredge, Timothy Patrick Finnegan, Steve Wayne Hopkins, Matthew Dickson Johnson and William Reed Usher III.
The bride is a graduate of University High School in Baton Rouge. She received a Bachelor of Arts in corporate communications and public affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Southern Methodist University. The bride is a marketing coordinator at Patton Boggs LLP.
The groom is a graduate of Highland Park High School. He received a Bachelor of Science in journalism from the University of Texas and is an MBA candidate at Southern Methodist University. He is a regional ecommerce manager for Hilton Worldwide.
Following their wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple are now at home in Dallas.
