The Highland Park Lady Scots soccer team has raised almost $50,000 for special education programs at the school.

The team will present superintendent Dr. Dawson Orr and director of special education programs Kami Burns a check prior to tonight’s 7:15 district game against Carrollton Creekview at Highlander Stadium.

The Lady Scots (17-1-2, 6-0-1) and Lady Mustangs (12-2-4, 6-1-0) are battling it out for the district title with three games left in the regular season. Both teams have already clinched a playoff berth.
