Norwood Flynn Gallery Hosts 2012 Spring Juried Show
Norwood Flynn Gallery, just off Bachman Lake, is a pretty charming space. I was there last week meeting with the gallery’s curator Mabel Peck and interviewed an artist from their upcoming exhibit opening March 10, who is a long time Preston Hollow resident, and has done some amazing work. Check out my feature on him tomorrow in Preston Hollow People.
This morning though, Mabel send word that Norwood Flynn Gallery will host a show for the visual arts senior students from Booker T. Washington High School April 14-21, with an artist reception April 21 from 6-8 p.m.
She mentioned the exhibit during our meeting, and said the students always produce the most beautiful art (and often sell their art for little to nothing). All of the proceeds will benefit DADA’s Edith Baker Art Scholarship and the Artist Career Development Fund.
