What’s up with all the knee pads in that picture? Is that a new thing for girl’s basketball? Or have they always worn knee pads?

I’m assuming you haven’t been watching girls basketball?! It is a major contact sport! Very Exciting!

Most of the Lady Scots have worn knee pads since the arrival of Amy Matlock 4 years ago. She’s a bit old school and does not want any excuses for not diving on the floor after loose bballs, not driving to the boards hard for a layup for fear of falling or not taking a hard charge for fear of potentially getting hit on a knee. She’s doing her best to try and protect those Lady Scots while asking them to leave it all on the floor every game. To date I would say it’s working. You outta see these girls get after it with their hustle and flow. This Friday, 7:00 pm at Conrad High School against Dallas Carter High School! Be there so you can watch all those knee pads work the floor and put up another win!
