Which Highland Park Students Will Pass This Test?
This is a test to determine whether Highland Park High School students read this blog. I will be serving burgers and fries today in the high school cafeteria. In my pocket will be three $25 gift certificates to Sonny Bryan’s. I will give away one of these gift certificates in each lunch period. The winners will be the first students in each period who greet me with the phrase that pays: “Bradford Pearson.”
I’m so honored.
We may need to figure out how to up our high school readership. No takers so far.
More Bieber.
I thought about texting my kids and telling them to find you but I know that would not be fair. Instead I will wait until they get home and tell them what they missed out on. Maybe they will start reading.
The third lunch came on strong. The gift certificates are all gone.
Winner 1 was a tall boy with a deep voice who said nothing more than “Bradford Pearson.”
Winner 2 was a girl who asked, “Do you know Bradford Pearson?” When I replied that I did and produced the gift certificate, she started beaming and said, “Wait, are you Dan Koller? I love your blog!”
Winner 3 was a boy who asked if I was Dan Koller. He then said, “Hi, I’m Bradford Pearson.” He also admitted that his dad had sent him a link to this post and told him to find me.
It says this posted at 8:27. after the start of the school day. It’s likely none of your “winners” read this directly.
