Lindsay Alyse Allen and George Harlan Billingsley were united in Holy Matrimony on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 5 in the evening. The ceremony was held at Perkins Chapel on the campus of Southern Methodist University.

The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Judith Reedy, cousin of the bride. Sumner Billingsley and Lucy Paige Burns, sisters of the groom, gave Scripture readings.

Virginia Frances Tiernan, soloist and former charge of the bride, and Lillian Lee Clark, pianist, performed special music for the ceremony. The reception was hosted by the bride’s parents and held at the Highland Park home of the groom’s parents. Music was provided by Emerald City of Dallas. On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Mansion of Dallas.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael D. Allen of Tyler, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip H. Lanham of Houston and the late Mr. and Mrs. E.T. (Mike) Allen Jr. of Whitesboro, Texas.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Billingsley of Dallas. He is the grandson of Mrs. Margaret Crow and the late Mr. Trammell Crow of Dallas and the late Ms. Amy Utz of Pacific Palisades, Calif.

Matron of honor was Caroline Michel Allen-Martin, sister of the bride, of Dallas. Serving as bridesmaids were Kristen Marie Cobb, Jill Elizabeth Crotty, Whitney Cavender Edwards, Rebecca Smith Rambie, and Kathryn Flowers Samler, all of Dallas. Honor attendants were Lindsay Marie Schelldorf, of McKinney, Texas, Lindsay Elizabeth Goodner, Taylor Anne Mountz, Franchesca Humphrey Nor, and Rachel Slosburg Kramer, all of Dallas, and Elizabeth Hansen Gross of Annapolis, Md.

Serving as best man was Alfonso Eduardo Montiel, of Dallas. Groomsmen were Daniel Hanson Crouch, Jonathan Martinez Flores, Robert Matthew Innamorati, Jose Roberto Soto, and Chart Hampton Westcott, all of Dallas.

Ushers were Thomas Patrick Burns, Robert Nathaniel Crow, Blake Judson Martin, and Adam Christopher Wright, all of Dallas.

Junior bridesmaid Alexandra Marie Montiel of Dallas accompanied flower girls, Adalyn Grace Rushing and Madelyn Joy Rushing of Houston. Junior groomsman Maxwell Allen Staggs of Greenville, Texas accompanied ring bearers, Carter Harrison Crow, and Trammell Colin Crow of Dallas.

The bride is a graduate of Southern Methodist University. She is currently a director at Institutional Property Advisors in Dallas.

The groom is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University. He is currently vice president of Industrial Leasing at Billingsley Company.

Both the bride and groom are currently enrolled in the Master’s Program at SMU’s Cox School of Business.

Following a honeymoon to Bali and Singapore, the couple will reside in Dallas.
