Add Yet Another Burger Joint to Your List

Hopdoddy Burger Bar is coming to Preston Center, per Uncle Nancy. I can quickly see many New Year’s resolutions floundering, flailing, and then sinking into the abyss.

The last time I mentioned burgers on the blog, you all tore me apart, so I’m not going to say anything. Except MapleandMotorisbetterthananyParkCitiesburgerI’vehadthoughsomedokindacomeclose. Whew.

Wow, that’s impressive! I do not think I could type that many words without automatically adding spaces. Back to the topic… I think burger diversity is a beautiful thing.

Love burgers, like diversity. Hopdoddy is just ok. They have below average burgers that they try to hide with an over blown menu.

What exactly are the burgers in the “Park Cities”?
    Jacks
    Chips
    Goff’s
    Snuffers
    ?
Pretty much the only places that are technically burger joints that I can think of off the top of my head.

That said, you can’t easily compare greasy thin burgers with thicker quality burgers. On top of that, are you throwing in sides/drinks/atmosphere into the comparison mix?
Places in the Park Cities that are not mainly burger oriented that have great burgers:
    Hillstone’s
    Taco Diner
