Burger House Anniversary Draws Hungry Crowd

I just returned from Burger House, where Bradford Pearson and I each enjoyed two burgers because A) they were 60 cents and B) in Brad’s words, “we’re growing boys.” To make us feel even worse about ourselves, we spotted University Park city manager Bob Livingston jogging on Hillcrest as we drove back to the office. Perhaps Bob was just trying to shed a few pounds before consuming a few burgers. Wish I’d thought of that. Must be nice to have enough time to take a jog in the middle of a week day.

Such a nice story, no need to get snarky. Bob seldom takes a lunch hour. Sometimes, especially when it’s cool outside, he runs during the noon hour. A participant in past marathons, he is an avid runner and uses distance running to keep in shape. Problem?

Easy there Steve. Just jealous of anyone who has enough time to go jogging in the middle of the day, sounds nice.

Mr. Mace…I was curious as to why Mr. Livingston did not respond? I would have been interested in the past marathons he participated, and if he has won any. It’s good to keep in shape.

I kind of cringed with your last word of “problem.” Man, it sounds a little eerie. Anyway, have a safe a Merry Christmas.

How did the city make it all those years without a public information person?
