Edward Drake, Former UP Mayor, Dies
Edward Drake, a former mayor of University Park, died Friday. He was 87.
A Dallas native, Drake served as mayor from 1984 to 1986.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Park Cities Presbyterian, 4124 Oak Lawn Avenue. The flags at UP city buildings and parks will be flown at half-staff through Friday, said UP spokesman Steve Mace.
