Nellie Simpson and Byron Dunn Jr. weddingNellie Woolf Simpson and William Byron Dunn Jr. were united in marriage June 18 at Christ Chapel Bible Church in Fort Worth, Texas. The Rev. Cody McQueen presided over the ceremony. A reception followed at The Ashton Depot. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at City Club of Fort Worth on June 17.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. Timothy Simpson of Tyler, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Arnold of Tyler, and the late Mr. & Mrs. Frederick B. Simpson of McAllen, Texas.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Byron Dunn of Dallas. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Finger of El Paso, Texas and of Mrs. JoAnn Dunn and the late Mr. Byron G. Dunn of Dallas.

The bride selected a one-shoulder, silk shantung taffeta Romona Keveza gown accented with a Swarovski jeweled belt. She carried a lush bouquet of white flowers, ferns and succulents.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Her father escorted her down the aisle. Attending as maid of honor was Laura Gore. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Carlson, Hilary Colia, Amy DeHaven, Cassie Hickman, Molly Simpson, and Molly Welling. The house party included Kaci Eaves, Jessica Gore, and Brooke Wright.

Attending as best man was David Butterfield. Groomsmen were Zane Carlson, Andrew Colia, Matt Colia, Trey Kostohryz, Walter Simpson, and Kevin Smith. Ushers included Brad Glasscock, George Malloy, William Malloy, and Chance Olin.

Scripture was read by the bride’s brother, Ben Simpson. Joy Simpson, niece of the bride, served as flower girl.

The bride is a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Tyler and Texas Christian University. She is employed by Tailwind Advisors. The groom is a graduate of Highland Park High School and Texas Christian University. He is employed by Quicksilver Resources.

Following a wedding trip to Antigua, the couple resides in Fort Worth.
