It’s 105 degrees and you’re complaining about the AC? Wear a hat.

Sounds good right now as long as it is A/C.

It’s CM’s own version of Tom Thumb hounding you with questions. Perhaps you’ll solve this problem too.

Id, I should have mentioned that this isn’t just an AC situation, the same phenomenon happens in winter. And did I mention that I love Central Market?

It’s how they keep bugs (esp. flies) from entering the store. To me the minor annoyance is worth the benefit.

It’s called an air curtain. It may be required by code or CM’s way of keeping flies off the produce. That’s a good thing.

Hm, flies off the produce. Okay, I’m in favor of that. I wonder why other grocery stores don’t do that?

@Charles. My thought, too: if the other grocery stores don’t have air curtains, do they have more flies? At least now you know it has a name and a purpose.

Never once thought it was for the bugs – I thought it was a welcome “cool down” – relax – shop – get out of the heat. Silly me.

I was at the Whole Foods at Preston & Forest last weekend and they had a cloud of flies on their tomatoes… very gross!
