Have a Glass of Charitable Lemonade
There really is a day for everything. Saturday is National Lemonade Day, so what better way to celebrate than kicking back with cold glass of the tangy fruit juice while raising money for charity.
Lemons to Aid, a nonprofit started by PH resident Melissa Plaskoff, is hosting a fundraiser at the Dallas Museum of Nature and Science from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Admission to the museum is free for those attending the Lemons to Aid event and activities will include decorating placemats for Meals on Wheels, writing letters to the troops, and lemonade-themed contests and games. Donations to the charitable cause are welcomed.
