The outages last night were not rolling black-outs. I talked to Oncor folks and they said there were numerous equipment failures at Lomo Alto substation, just south of Lovers, caused by heat.
North side of Lovers and the whole Devonshire neighborhood going North, from Tollway to beyond Inwood was out for over 3 hours last night. We went to Cantina Laredo last night and all those businesses across the street were dark, heard this morning they weren’t back up until late night.
Question: Why can’t they give us 15 minutes warning that a black out is going to take place, so we can turn off computers and other essentials? They could just have a recorded voice call and alert us.
