Using the address in the 2011 MIS directory, they live in a non-descript multiple-family apartment building. Their next-door neighbor is the Dallas North Tollway. In the show, didn’t they show a cute cottage-style house?

    I thought I’d vomit watching that show………

Who’s ever even heard of Woodhaven CC? More prestigious than DCC or Brookhollow? Live in Dallas, but “country club” in Ft Worth? please…..The DCAD (www.dallascad.org) doesn’t even show anyone living in the Park Cities with the last name Dieb. They must be Big, Rich Renters…….

They should rename the show “Bitchy Embarrassing Texans”

Apparently the producers approached a number of the Dallas CC’s (DCC, Brookhollow, Royal Oaks, Northwood, etc.) and they all refused to allow them to film. Same story at Ridgelea and Colonial in FtW. Too bad they couldn’t find one in Southlake…

What a sad situation to put your daughter in. I wish I had that hour back.

    Clearly Woodhaven is quite elite.

    Per http://golfersbag.com/private-golf-course-directory.php

    WOODHAVEN COUNTRY CLUB
    913 Country Club Lane
    Fort Worth, TX 76112
    817-457-5150
    Designer. Leon Howard
    Year Opened: 1969
    Initial Fee: $1,000
    Monthly Fee: $260
    Greens: Bermuda
    Equity Club: No
    General Manager. Hagen Cleek
    Membership Director: Erica Phemester
    Web site: http://www.woodhavenclub.com

Now, I haven’t a clue what level of membership this represents or when this last was updated . . . . but this is one of the lowest fees of the DFW clubs posted on this site. DCC is listed at $100,000 initial membership, and even DAC in MESQUITE is listed at $15,000.

Best way to reward this kind of incompetence is to not watch it and to not talk about it any more. This means you, Merritt! The stupid people on the show don’t realize they are being exploited and portrayed as complete dunces, but since we, the viewers, realize it, we should not cooperate with the producers. Before this I had never heard of the Style channel. I will never watch another show on that channel again.

Of course DCC and the other elite clubs said no. 1. They don’t need the PR. 2. They were worried they’d piss off their legitimately rich and elite members.
Woodbaven obviously isn’t worried about losing members since you basically have to sign up to join.

I think we all know this is a TV show and not real. Anyone in their right mind knows this is not a reflection on Dallas.
But what REALLY bothers me the most about this show is the reference to the “dead woman with impeccable taste”. How do you think her family feels? Seriously. I pray they don’t know, but if they do they must be horrified that Connie would bring it all up. That is beyond bad taste.

I am a resale shopper and I have gotten so many fabulous things from “estates” that doesn’t always mean they are DEAD and I was more than offended by this tone… how crass can it be.. without that and the “Tattoo”.. we might have laughed as if was just a sit-com but those 2 tidbits made me sick.. YES i watched it..

The clothes do not smell. everyone trys on clothes at NM Saks, etc so the “technically” are used.. and at least if you buy it a resale.. you cannot return it.. like some do for the big events in town… now that’s another story.. tune in Sunday night … the saga continues.
