I used to go to La Duni on Oak Lawn often because of the location, good food and drinks, but the consistently rude and indifferent service caused me to find other restaurants that have a pleasant staff.

Don’t worry Charles, he will be gone soon enough. They will not allow a nice guy with a good work ethic to corrupt their corporate culture.

Duni has some of the best food and pastries in town. There is a host or assistant manager, short hispanic guy, hairy face, that works the front at Duni North Park that literally runs people off with his crappy attitude. What is sad is Duni and Taco are some of the nicest, coolest people around and clearly they don’t know how rude that idiot is otherwise they would fire him.

JR, if you know the owners, perhaps you should forward this post and the comments to them because, you’re right, the food and atmosphere are great. It’s the service that is awful, and no matter how popular they are now, it will catch up to them. There are simply too many choices in Dallas.

May I ask, what do you do for life? I guess nothing since you have time to write all this!! And no education enough to send and email to the owner of this place and explain your concerns in a proper way!

Julian: “And no education enough”???? I think you meant “not enough education”. But I just have an MBA from Vanderbilt (or as you would say: “They learned me well.”)……………
