Rise and Shine, Park Cities (5-9-11)

1.This week marks yet another anniversary of University Park’s most infamous unsolved murder (yes, there’s another one). On May 13, 1993, former Dallas Cowboys punter Colin Ridgway was shot and killed in the duplex he shared with his wife on Emerson.

2. Moms, if you’re drug/disease free and looking for something to do with all of that spare time, look no further. This guy wants to hook up, and your husband is invited to come along. Seriously, I don’t make this stuff up.

3. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite HPISD school board candidate this Saturday, May 14 at Highland Park Middle School. Amy Titus and Sam Dalton are running for the seat currently held by John Bunten who is not seeking reelection.

Merritt, thanks to you, I understand what DDF stands for. But I’m clueless about HWP. Hung white professional? Horny white Parkie?

Good guess but hwp is height/weight proportionate. Clearly you’re not up on the lingo necessary to read craigslist personals.

    Dan,

Heightweight proportional. But your guesses are solid.

I think it’s hilarious that he cares – front and center – about “which park you are from” (a question local reporters ask, too). I mean, is that going to change anything?
