Pearls and Pajamas Party Guests Celebrate Royal Wedding
Gay Donnell may have scored the best “Kate-William wedding watching party” of all. The “Pearls and Pajamas Party started just before 4 this morning with friends arriving at Gay’s home appropriately attired with a couple of tiaras thrown in for good measure. Right after hugs were exchanged, guests were served mimosas and settled back in one of two rooms to watch the British royals wed via huge screens.
Consensus of the group: Harry is a hunk; Princess Beatrice’s hat was scary; flower girl dresses were adorable; Kate has the best teeth; Loved the trees in Westminster Abbey; William had a bit of challenge getting Kate’s ring on; and Tony Blair should have been invited.
After the vows were exchanged to the approval of all gathered, Gay in red silk pajamas presented a breakfast fit for royalty — Frambroises St. George, Eggs Drumkilbo, Bread and Butter Pudding, Royal Tea Scones, Croque Monsieur, Scottish Thistle Shortbread and Chocolate Biscuit Cake.
And, yes, Gay made the entire meal herself.
