Preston Hollow Elementary Counselor Honored
Sharon Sandahl of Preston Hollow Elementary was one of 27 DISD counselors, representing 10 schools, to receive CREST Awards from the Texas School Counseling Association.
The Counselors Reinforcing Excellence for Students in Texas Awards, which were doled out Feb. 14 in Arlington, recognize outstanding school counseling programs that reinforce the school counselor’s role in the academic, personal, social, and career development of students. A total of 36 schools across the state earned the honor this year.
