Appliances on the Patio in University Park

There are multiple reports today of a washing machine on the front balcony of a University Park home. Disturbed residents say it is on Lovers Lane near Hillcrest and has been there a bit too long to call it a transition.

My suggestion- dial 911. It starts with an appliance and before long the Park Cities will be looking like this. Chief Adams? Anybody?

HELP!

    Wouldn’t this be a case for alley-inspectin’, trashcan-measurin’, that’s-weeds-not-grass growin’ City Of UP property beautification/urban terrorist Pat Grecco? As long as there aren’t any pitbulls on chains or meth labs in our Bubblicious community…you got to draw the line somewhere.

    There is/was a house … I believe on Stanford that had a slightly worn couch on the front porch for a very long time. The one above looks much better. Haven’t driven that way in a while to see if it’s still there … but yes surely the code enforcement said something … they got onto me for house numbers not visible enough from the street 🙂

    @Inquiring Minds,

    Thank you for bringing that up. We were promised an explanation, then crickets. Everytime I drive by that corner, I think about it again.

    And every so often someone should remind us where Robert Dowe Coleman, child molester, lives on Bryn Mawr.

    I haven’t seen the station wagons in a long while and the house was on the market last spring (2.2 million). My kids just asked my yesterday where all the station wagons were and did anyone live in the house anymore?

    I heard about a year ago that the owner of the house with the station wagons passed away. He acquired a large collection of wood paneled station wagons – many with old HPHS stickers – and moving them around to avoid parking tickets was one of his daily activities.
