Can You Identify This Guy?
Back in Year One of Park Cities People, founding editor Kirk Dooley wrote a notes column called “Dooley’s Shorts” that often ended with a trivia question. On May 6, 1982, Kirk asked readers to identify the man in this picture.
Thirty years later, the pictured man is still alive and well and working in the Park Cities. The first person to name him in the comments wins a $17 gift card to the Nail Bar, which I found this morning while cleaning out my desk.
David Bell’s brother who owns/runs Mr. Tuxedo. Sorry, I can’t remember his first name.
Max Fuqua?
I’m laughing about Dan’s having a gift certificate to the Nail Bar in the desk.
@Jeanne, For $17 dollars…
Bob Ross! Steven Spielberg’s brother! Serpico? Come on, I need a manicure. LOL
That’s Harold Bell, Ramsey.
You can donate the gift card to Tim Rogers’s family.
was I correct?
@Avid Reader: Just checked. . . $17 will get you a manicure.
Ramsey, you win (with an assist from Zaner). I’ll be in touch to get your address.
I was robbed. The stated task was to be the first to “name” the guy in the photo, not identify his brother, or where he works. If you read the comments, I’m pretty sure that was done by me. But I’m more than happy to defer to my old pal Ramsey.
