Organist, DSO Quintet to Play Free Concert Sunday
Here’s a family-friendly weekend activity with a price that can’t be beat: Resident organist Don Krehbiel and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet will play a free concert 7 p.m. Sunday at First Unitarian Church of Dallas, and all are welcome to attend.
Featured music spans the 16th-century works of Gabrieli to those of 20th-century composer George Gershwin, said church spokesman Fritz Kuehn.
“The program is sure to inspire and uplift,” he told me in an e-mail. “Bring your friends!”
You heard the man.
