HP Village Merchants Had a Very Happy Holiday. Very.

So, fueled by a rumor that Highland Park Village’s holiday sales were huge versus those of a year ago, I hit the pavement this week to find out for myself.

In short: Wow. Yes. Confirmed.

Friday’s issue of Park Cities People has details, but (in the meantime) get this: One clothing merchant saw a 50 percent jump in December revenue, according to its manager. Fifty percent.

Any guesses as to who it could be?

I would think Tory Burch as well. Every time I went in it was packed.

    Hi, all.

It was Robert Talbott, actually – although the manager attributes the spike in part to a new (and more inviting) location within the Village.
