Why is one article declaring knit caps a curse and two headlines below show the little ole ladies that knit them. I kind of feel that this is a slap in their face.
Well, you got me there, Scooter. I didn’t even make the obvious connection. I certainly didn’t mean to insult the knitters. Perhaps the dozens of knit caps I saw that evening at Mi Cocina were all knitted by those lovely ladies.
They are a fashion no-no but for some reason have been embraced — perhaps function is winning out? Or are they so ugly (like striped legwarmers) that ugly is now cute? Is it a fashion revolution (or just revolting?) or simply a protest?
A car pulled up behind me at a stoplight. I looked in my rearview mirror to see that all occupants were under 25 and wearing the identical knit cap. It was cream color with a tassel on top, long cords with tassel at each end, and the top of the cap was pointed. Looked absolutely silly!!! Especially since it was a warm sunny day and I had the A/C on in my car…
The hats are functional and cute while outside on a cold day. When inside, however, the fashionista is caught in a quandary: what’s worse – hat head or hot head? Answer: hot head, the HPV Mi Cocina is not a forgiving place for a bad hair day.
yikes scooter you’re right! That is very rude to the knitting ladies đ poor things, that’s so sweet what they do for others. But I know it was a mistake, so nbd but still, poor things! I think knit caps can be cute! some are just fine!
Maybe the women in PCs know how to keep the warmth in their bodies….put on a hat! đ
It was cold. Fashion has it’s limits.
The caps look great with pajama jeans and that new stem cell face cream. Ha ha
Bluebird, I just saw the commercial for pajama jeans, and it was fascinating! They do make them for men, don’t they?
I thought I was watching Saturday Night Live when I saw the pajama jeans commercial! I really thought it was a joke.
Whoever spots pajama jeans in the PC, please post immediately. Bonus points for a photograph.

Charles, I’ve been told they come in S,M,L.
If they don’t make them for men well then they should. LOL

On the other hand …
