HPHS Grad’s Design Holds Up Well in Snider Plaza

Well over a decade has passed since HPHS graduate Cal McCollum departed Dallas for L.A. He’s since launched his own women’s clothing line, Cali by Cal, which just started selling like hotcakes at Snider Plaza’s Blues Jean Bar.

I’ll spare you the personal specifics (you’re welcome), but after trying on a sample, I can honestly say the Cali by Cal tops come with a dose of magic. And by that I mean a built-in bra. A brassier, if  you will. An often non-elective, supportive undergarment worn by women and adolescent girls for discreet purposes that may or may not be altogether apparent, and which shan’t be elaborated upon in an online forum, e.g. a “blog.”

Anyway, Blues Jean Bar can’t keep ’em on the shelves. And McCollum, for his part, remains a humble guy who still holds Dallas dear to his heart.

Read more about him in today’s issue of Park Cities Two.

As a friend of Cal from HPHS, I can’t think of a less likely person to be a women’s fashion designer. But I am excited for Cal, as everyone raves about his designs. Ladies, give his line a try!

Baha – I didn’t even see that until now, Adam. Thank you. It’d definitely be an uncomfortable garment.
