I’m sure everyone remembers Merritt’s coverage of the first season of Dallas Divas & Daughters. Well, I’ve received word that producers are seeking cast members for a second season. See the press release after the jump.

The Style Network is currently searching for Dallas moms & their daughters for the second installment of the hit series, “Dallas Divas & Daughters”.

Do heads turn when you two walk by? Are you sometimes mistaken for sisters? Is your lifestyle the envy of everyone in your town? Are you crazy for couture? Do you have a love/hate relationship? Do people always tell you, YOU should have your own TV Show? Producers want to know!

To be considered, email us right away! Please include contact information, a current photo and your story.

Eligible candidates must live in the greater Dallas, Texas area and daughters should be high school to college age.

I saw a commercial for a new real housewives show the other night, I think it was hollywood or something and I sat there trying to imagine what it would be like if someone I knew joined a show like that……can’t fathom it. I know that there is no way in hell I’d appear on camera with them, even if it was a family member. And this show was even worse than that franchise – every single one of these women and their girls came off in a really bad light. How can someone look at those shows and think “YES! That’s what I want to do with my precious girl child!” Gah. Can’t wait to see who does sign up though!

kmom I agree. I put them right up there with the people that allow themselves to be seen on those Cops shows. Acting like an idiot and getting arrested.

So everyone knows the Hills….well MTV first try to kickoff the series with the 2000 class of HP. Thankfully the administration and parents opposed this. Keep your kids and family to the heart with class and not exploit them for a cheap dollar that only brings yourself and our community to a microscope to be scrutinized to each microsecond recorded on film.

I was told that we did have a Mom from HP/UP as a regular on Dallas Divas and Daughters. I have not seen the show but I am curious.
