Are we talking about bowling? Not that I’m a huge fan, but my kids love it. We have taken them up to 300 which is great but pricey. I would love some closer options.
Yes, we are talking about bowling. A few people here at Park Cities People headquarters — as well as a few of you out in the blogosphere — were not understanding my references to “The Big Lebowski,” aka the world’s greatest film. In the parlance of our times, an “oat soda” is a beer, and a “Caucasian” is a white Russian, the drink of choice for the movie’s protagonist, Jeff “The Dude” Lebowksi.
I’ve been to 300 expecting it to be like Lucky Strike Lanes in Denver. I was disappointed.
Lucky Strike was nicer and very affordable.
Prior to Lucky Strikes, my only bowling experiences were are Don Carter in elementary school & a Lubbock Brunswick in college. Bowling is way more fun when the place doesn’t smell of stale cigarette smoke and beer.
Main Event. Best place ever. Wish there was one closer.
