Who Has the Power to Park Wherev? Valets and Cops.

This photo was taken just before 1:00 today by a reader lunching in Highland Park Village.

Walking in Highland Park Village is generally safe, but no thanks to the valet.  In this photo, you will see a very typical occurrence, where the valet at Patrizio’s has parked across the striped walk, and of course, blocked the handicapped/wheelchair ramp.  Don’t crop that photo though, because you will also see the Highland Park Police SUV also parked across the striped zone.  The SUV was parked with no occupants.

You have got to be kidding me. Don’t you have something else to do but dog the police. Get a life.

Let me guess… you’ve got nothing else to complain about, except for the very respectable Highland Park Police and Valet. Considering that Highland Park Village is private property, the way I see it is they can do what they want on their property. Like Timothy said, get a life. Complain about something worth while… like why the rich are sucking the world dry…
