Earlier this month I told you about the trunk stolen from a University Park front yard only moments before camp departure. Well, someone returned it last Sunday with everything in it. It was left sitting near the curb without a scratch. Odd. But good I guess.
One time I left an overnight bag on my porch when my daughter decided to sleep over at her friend’s… the mom was to pick it up that day. Long story short, the bag was picked up, but not by my daughter or her friend’s mom… but there was a receipt in my door from the Kidney Foundation(!) We never recovered the bag — the Kidney Foundation said it was unable to track specific pick ups (my neighbor had agreed to make a donation and they apparently went to the wrong house). But I wonder if somethng similar happened to the purple trunk… and the mistake was later realized…?
