There are a ton of sandwich shops on Greenville between Lovers and Southwestern: Jersey Mike’s, Potbelly, Baker Bros., Subway, etc. My favorite is ____________.
Jersey Mike’s is the best. Baker Bros and Potbelly’s make a good sandwich, but JM’s subs are really hard to beat. Hmmm – may have to change my lunch plans now and get one…
Don’t forget NY Sub, they’re good. The teens in our house usually do Subway, though. I had never eaten Jersey Mike’s, but after eating the FREE one at the July 5th parade I intend to go there soon! Thanks to them for that, I was starving so they gave me two, they were really yummy.
Why are we looking at sub shops outside the bubble? New York Subs has been in UP for 35+ years – locally owned and operated. And they slice the meat in front of you always. And don’t forget Jimmy John’s on Hillcrest – open until 3AM – well after the rest of our hamlet closes.

Pot Belly!!!
Baker Bros by a mile. Their roasted veggie sandwich is incredible. When you dip it in their black bean soup before each bite, it’s ridiculous.

Freebirds. I know, technically not a sandwich, but very, very tasty.
Jersey Mike’s is the only where you see them slice the meat for your sandwich. It gets the top vote in my book.
