Pocket Sandwich Theatre Salutes Old Blue Eyes
If you can’t put on a fedora without humming the chorus to “My Way,” or if the words “start spreading the news” make you want to hop a plane to the big apple, you need to head to the Pocket Sandwich Theatre at 7:30 p.m. today for “I Love Sinatra” featuring performer David Hallum.
The singer travels the country performing a stunning tribute to the music icon, and according to the press release, there is no lip-synching involved in his act. It also mentions that Barbara Streisand called the show “wonderful.” Hmm, that’s quite a compliment Mr. Hallum. Well if Babs liked it, then we’ve got to see it. Cost is $19. I saw Frank Sinatra perform live at the Fox Theater in St. Louis in 1987. His voice had gone by then but he still put on a heckuva show. Love him.
David’s an HP grad too.
Kersten: I’m so incredibly jealous. That must have been amazing.
hpmom: Really? Very interesting. Thanks for the tip!
