Parking in Snider Plaza Seems to be Getting Easier

The driver of this SUV must be having some sort of emergency, right? I mean, to park sideways across three storefront spots in Snider Plaza there must be a super good reason. Not so much. She was just grabbing a cup of coffee at Creme de la Cookie.

I noticed that the SUV is aiming the WRONG direction on the one-way section of parking lot. I wonder if that driver waits patiently in the carpool lane at McC? Hmmm.

She takes up more than her share of parking space, and she uses far more than her share of fuel. A very selfish lady.

If she came into our store, we didn’t see her brilliant parking job! But as Max said above, we really do have great coffee (and baked goods). Must have been a sugar emergency!!! (forgive her, for she knows not what she does)……

Maybe she works for BP. Because only “small people” park between the lines.

Where’s one of those civilian parking cops when you need one? Or, heaven forbid, a regular cop?

Merritt, would the chief deputize you so that you could enact change directly? You could get a little pink badge and maybe a stack of snarkily worded parking tickets.

If we could just see the stickers on the back, we could tell so much more.
Hyer, UP, Camp Longhorn, MIS, HPMS, HPLAX, 505, Ozark,
    SKA’11, ESD, UT(Horns only), etc…

C’mon, why is every hating on her? You must all be jealous, that’s it. She pays taxes just like everyone else, in fact, MORE than everyone else, so she can do whatever she wants. The only rules she has to follow are her rules. That’s what Mommsy and Daddy always told her, she’s special.

Why can’t you post the licence numbers? There are 100’s of silver SUV’s that look just like that. Second best would be what @grump said, it looks just like my neighbor across the street, I could confirm if I could see the back window stickers. It would be…….true to form, so I’m thinking it’s her.

Max, is there really a parking problem in Snider Plaza? It seems if everyone just used one spot, there’d be plenty to go around! 🙂

this blog definitely brings out the worst in us

before ordering her execution, how about a few facts – by the sunlight it looks early in the day, were the other stores open then? the lot must have been empty to be able to park like that. it was posted on Monday – what day was the picture taken? Sunday? When all the stores are closed? still doesn’t explain why the car is headed south

I know its easier to jump to conclusions but occasionally facts make a difference.

B, those particular facts are irrelevant. The answer to your questions, whatever they may be, in no way justify or excuse the conduct.

Maybe she just left Sevy’s and had a blood sugar imbalance.

Grump. Best comment. Never lived in a neighborhood that had to make sure no one thought they might be part of the great unwashed of Dallas.

AD and grump, no kidding. I always wonder if people go back to their child’s elementary to purchase stickers when they get new cars, even if their kids are already married with children. I swear I’ve seen cars with stickers from preschool all the way through college on them.

Classic! Is it really that hard/time consuming to park normally. It’s unfortunate she/he wasn’t blocked in that spot. Please post license plates next time. Anyone arrogant enough to park their car like doesn’t care what people think of their behavior anyway — so post the plates.
