Home of Civil Rights Leader to be Sold at Auction
This has no Preston Hollow connection–I apologize in advance–but I couldn’t help but comment on a notice in today’s Daily Commercial Record that a house at 3323 Reed Street, owned by one Booker T. Washington, will be sold at auction at the George Allen Courthouse between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. July 6. A shame that things have come to this for the former slave and civil rights leader. Didn’t know he owned property in Dallas.
Or, I guess it could be just some guy with the same name.
