The only way to cool off on a patio here in the summer is to have an air conditioned patio. I have added a fan to our patio and it helps quite a bit, still too hot to choose to eat outside, though. Unless you dunk yourself in the pool and sit there by the fan soaking wet.
Last night – took kids to new Twisted Root – you can sit half inside/half outside (cool) and watch one of their 6 huge TV’s. Lots of fans – very pleasant. Next time we plan to ride our bikes.
My backyard, watching the kids swim.
The one with the iced dangling prepositions.

Though it’s perhaps not quite as “public” a place as some might like, I kinda like the outdoor space at Half Shells or Banditos on a summer night.
The Jerome in Aspen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@S: Is it dangling if the sentence is yet to be completed? Makes you think, doesn’t it?
After visiting Renfield’s Corner a few days ago, it’s definitely tied with my usual hangout, which is Gloria’s on Greenville.
@Joanna: I realized this a few minutes after posting my comment. I jumped the gun with my grading pen this time.
@S: Totally forgivable.
Side note: I always make corrections in red pen. I like it old school.
