Rhett Miller, I’d say yes to you any day; I’m just waiting for you to ask. Last night, the Old 97’s Rhett Miller performed solo on the Belmont Hotel lawn. Check out my attempt to produce a video.
As if I expected anything less from the St. Mark’s alum, he was spectacular, even wooing the ladies by singing a chorus of “Question” in French. And the opener, Seryn, was fab as well.
If you haven’t heard yet, the Belmont Hotel’s summer series, “Barefoot at the Belmont,” is in full swing. Every Thursday through August, enjoy poolside entertainment with music presented by KXT 91.7 and the Texas Theatre, and movies by Corgan MediaLab. Next Thursday, settle on a blanket in the grass for a viewing of Anchorman. I love lamp.
