Heads-Up RE: HPPC Lot, Rezoning

So, we’ve mentioned the clamor surrounding Highland Park Presbyterian Church’s motion to rezone and build a parking area on its premises. As it turns out, plans aren’t likely to go before the University Park planning and zoning commission until August 10.

Pick up this week’s issue of Park Cities People for Joanna England’s story about a church-owned house that stands in the path of said parking lot, and the Park Cities Historic and Preservation Society’s efforts to save it.

*Update: As of about noon on Thursday, I’ve made a few corrections to the info above. Apologies all around.
