Reaugh is Icing on Cake
I was born and raised on Philadelphia Flyers hockey. Watching my favorite team plow through the Eastern Conference Finals has been even more enjoyable because University Park resident Daryl “Razor” Reaugh is calling the games on Versus. Of course, if my team were down 2-0 in the series after being outscored 9-0 (instead of the opposite being true), I probably wouldn’t find Reaugh’s sayings like “saucy glove grab” so amusing.
Oh, Dan. I’m a PA native and I am loving every minute of it as well. This is so good for the state. I wonder if the Flyers have set a record for most consecutive playoff wins? It’s been a beauty of a series so far. I don’t get versus on my TV, but I’m still loving it.
My dad had season tickets for almost 30 years. When the Flyers won their first Stanley Cup in 1974, I was in the building (in my mother’s womb).
My friend who is back in Philly said she knew the Flyers would have a Stanley Cup run when her husband decided to give up his season tickets in September. That’s just the way her luck runs. đ
