Providence Students Go Medieval
The students at Providence Christian School are at it again. This time the sixth-graders learned about life in the Middle Ages on April 28 by being assigned roles such as prince, peasant, jester, queen, knight, and more. They were only allowed to interact with classmates of their Medieval social status. The knights fought in a duel, jesters threw pies in faces, and the peasants sold their wares. They also got to bowl for feathers, joust, and later feasted on cheese, grapes, bread, turkey legs, and ale (apple juice). Um, where was this fun school when I was in sixth grade?
What a fun way to learn history!
