Second Man Charged in Whole Foods Ring Robbery

Police have named Timothy Eric Walters, 26, as the second arrestee in the infamous Jan. 25 robbery of a 53-year-old Preston Hollow resident of her $90,000 wedding ring in the parking lot of the Preston Forest Shopping Center Whole Foods. An aggravated assault charge against Walters, the alleged attacker, was filed in Dallas County court today.

The Wichita Falls man, who stands 6-foot-7-inches tall, has already accumulated a fairly sizable list of convictions. Drug possession in 2005. Illegal weapons possession in 2007. Theft in 2008. Robbery in 2009, for which he was sentenced to nine months in state jail.

The ring has still not been recovered.
