Village Theatre Marquee to Exit Stage Left by Tomorrow
Folks with Nedderman & Associates General Contractors started carefully peeling back the layers of the historic marquee at Village Theatre at 8 a.m. today. They expect to be done with the removal by tomorrow afternoon.
Contractor Toby Thomason said that they are taking great care to dismantle the marquee for two reasons: The facade of the structure will be used on the rebuilt marquee, and they aren’t exactly sure what is inside the old marquee or how it was constructed.
