The High Dive is Back and the Slide Exceeds Expectations

We all mourned the loss of the high dive at the U.P. pool. I feared my younger children wouldn’t get the same first leap experience that the older ones did. But as you know, we’re back in business this summer. I visited the pool the other day and would have kissed the towering ladder if I didn’t think there were a bajillion germs crawling on it.

But the slide. The. Slide. It’s the bomb. We’ve seen it going in and up but it’s more spectacular than our kids ever dreamed.

See you there this summer. I’ll be back with the camera for the next first leap pic. It seems like yesterday (tears and sniffles).

Nice shots, Merritt! I hope you have a telephoto lens so you can catch some of the faces of kids hurtling down the slide this summer!

I just have one question…when it’s time for adult swim at 10 minutes til the hour, is it ok for the moms & dads to go down the slide?
